The insanity begins...

A message from NightPirate:

Today it all begins. The countless hours of typing/scribbling down thoughts and ideas. The late nighters and caffeine overdoses. Remember though, there's nothing to lose by doing this. All you can gain is exposure. So try not to freak out about deadlines you set for youself. This is supposed to be a fun time of insanity. Just pace yourself. I figured if you get out about 2000 words a day, then you will be pretty much set in reaching the November 30th goal of 50,000 words. If you get stuck with anything, look at the links next to this entry. You should find some helpful stuff about grammer, character developement, and plot writing. And also post anything in the forum you have questions on. I also added a new feature of putting up photography and art work. Once again just ask one of us (me,Paisley, or mary) for the password. Just make sure you have your photos or art work posted to a site like Photobucket.com before uploading them to the journal.

Have fun while doing this. And also, most important:

"write what you know"

hey, this looks to be great -- even though I have been writing and have some small publishing success (as a technical writer) I am looking to do fiction and that is a whole new world, with lots for me to learn -- I hope to make use of everything you offer!
